You can choose to pay the annual premium in one payment or in twelve (12) monthly installments, regardless of when benefits are utilized. The monthly payment option is a 1-year contract.

Yes. If you choose to make monthly installments you can pick your billing date to occur on the first, fifth, tenth, fifteenth or twentieth of each month.

Some VSP Individual Vision Plans are available to members of the Healthy Vision Association (HVA) which has a membership fee. As a member of the HVA, you’ll have access to health and wellness discounts and savings.

You’ll need to enroll in a plan and pay the first monthly installment, or the annual fee, before you can use the plan. Please note, monthly installments are billed one month in advance. If you choose the same month effective date, your first payment will cover two installment periods, the current month and the next month, simultaneously. Your next payment will be withdrawn the following month on or around the reoccurring auto-payment date you select.

While we don’t offer senior discounts, VSP Individual Vision Plans start as low as $13 a month and there are multiple options to choose from to fit your budget. You’ll also have access to Exclusive Member Extras and enjoy savings on lenses, contacts, LASIK, and more, including up to 60% savings on hearing aids.

Continuing your coverage is easy. Each year, your plan will automatically renew (we'll charge the same credit card you provide us during your initial enrollment). We'll remind you 60 days in advance of your renewal. If you wish to make any changes to your coverage, you can call our Customer Service at 800.785.0699.

Yes, you can start your plan up to six months out after enrolling online. If you'd like to start your plan beyond six months out, however, please give us a call and one of our knowledgeable plan advisors will assist you.
